Whitford - (Mrs) MM

The remains of Mrs. MM Whitford of Peru, were brought to this city on Monday evening by sorrowing friends and relatives. Mrs. Whitford died on last Sabbath from lung fever and congestion of the stomach after an illness of three weeks. The funeral took place from the residence of HH Hess on Tuesday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Stratton. Mrs. Whitford was the youngest daughter of Mrs. Judge Naylor and the wife of Rev. MM Whitford. She was an excellent Christian lady and the family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends both in this city and Peru, their late home.
